New Year's Resolutions

As the new year approaches you are probably making a checklist in your head of things you can improve in your life. But as we all know, keeping up with you goals and aspirations can be tough to do sometimes. In a couple of days you can walk by any fitness center and you will see people packed like sardines trying to keep their new year's resolution of working out everyday. I too am guilty of this and if you are like me, you probably set all these goals, keep up with them for a couple of months and then completely forget about them or become unmotivated.

SALE SALE SALE

Black Friday: "Because only in America people trample each other for sales exactly one day after being thankful for what they already have." This was the first year I didn't participate in Black Friday sales for the main purpose of preserving my dignity. Waking up at 3am, almost getting frost bite from standing outside stores for hours, and literally shoving girls over to get a shirt that went from $50 to $30 is the reason I decided to re evaluate and not participate in Black Friday this year.

city lovin

A long over due visit to San Francisco this weekend and it was anything but boring! I wish I had more time to explore the city and do touristy things! Here are a few shots I got from my visit to the city for one day. Got to go shopping and hang out in time square, and I'm already ready to plan my next trip back to this beautiful city!

Bottega Louie

Macaroon heaven! Whenever I go to LA, Bottega Louie is always on my list of places I must stop by before I head home! I love the vibe when you walk in and I am obsessed with their granite floors and pastel colors. Their food is delicious and their macaroons are like little bites of heaven.  I honestly would consider macaroons as one of my staple foods.

Think Pink

Like all girls, I love a good bargain and I love to shop. But how do you keep up with the newest trends without going broke? Well I have come up with some ways to balance fashion on a budget. Pairing staple items with cheap finds or casual clothes with something dressy is a great way to show off your personal style and look expensive. It is all about deciding between splurging or saving on clothes. I think that splurging on shoes is acceptable, but when it comes to clothes you can always find cheap items that look expensive. I bought this black skirt for only $17 and my top on sale for only $10! All of these items are easy to dress up or dress down, depending on your destination!

A little lace

a little lace

Hello classy, goodbye trashy! Currently loving all things lace. Throughout the years I have come to terms with the fact that if you want to be taken seriously and look professional you need to dress the part. And lace bralettes are my secret.

Stan Smith obsession

These past couple of months, or even longer I have been searching for Stan Smith Adidas.... but leave it to every single blogger and fashion forward girl to buy out the whole store. Adidas is literally on back order until October due to the fact that the sneaker trend has gone viral. But of course that didn't stop me or my sister from trying every possible place to find them.

Minimalism

A little New York Fashion week inspiration. Watching the Snapchats and looking at the Instagrams from all my favorite fashion bloggers got me inspired... and jealous of course! So I decided to create the perfect outfit for that New York street style look.

In Neutral

Transitioning from Summer to Fall is always my favorite because I get to mix and match my clothes, but with this scorching hot weather it does not look like it will be getting cooler any time soon. I went shopping last week and got a couple of staple clothes for casual days. And I just can't seem to stay away from these perfect white ripped jeans. They are comfortable and affordable! One thing to keep in mind when transitioning your wardrobe from Summer to Fall is stick to neutral colors. Also dress up your outfits with some jewelry to add a little sparkle to your neutral look!

DIY

DIY projects are so creative and fun, but when it comes to making my own ideas it is something I am not very good at. I love style DIYs because the cost is minimal and the clothes are one of a kind. For this week I have found inspiration in being clever and crafty. I have gathered just a few DIYs that I think are perfect for adding a little unique touch to your wardrobe.

Postcard from Hundred Islands

At Hundred Islands, Pangasinan we hopped on a boat that took us around the islands where we went zip lining over the clear blue sea, jumped into a cave of bats, and went snorkeling. We had lunch with a beautiful scenic view, warm air, and fresh fish.

To the beach...

The best things in life are free.... Sunsets, fresh air, smiling, sun kissed skin, the salty ocean, good company, the warm sun rays, a fresh summer breeze, exploring new places and an open mind. Laying on the beach here in Pangasinan was so peaceful and calm. It had me feeling overwhelmed and thankful for all of the blessings in my life.

Greetings from the Philippines

Greetings from the Philippines!
This was my second time visiting and I enjoyed every second of it. Although it was such a long trip; 15+ hours of traveling, it was all worth it. The people were so kind hearted, the food was delicious, the weather was so beautiful, and the days lasted so long.

Straw

San Francisco is one of my favorite places to go. I love the high energy, the unique people, the many activities the city provides, and of course visiting my family. I recently took a trip up to San Francisco to visit my family, which called for endless amounts of food comas.

Summer is one of my favorite seasons... long beach days, salty hair and summer air. And I am currently in love with all things white.
