florence, Italy

WHAT TO DO
Climb the duomo for an absolutely breathtaking view of Florence, but remember to wear conservative clothes and buy your tickets online.
Ponte Vecchio is where you can walk the bridges for a beautiful scenery.
Boboli gardens at the Palazzo Pitti is a great place to visit for a relaxing day of observing one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy.
Piazzale Michelangelo is a bit of a walk but it is definitely worth it. It is the best place in all of Florence to watch the sunset and drink wine with a beautiful view and some great company.
Ufizzi gallery is the place to go if you are an art lover. This is where Boticelli and Michelangelo's art is.
Bargello is a museum that is free on the first Sunday of every month so if you happen to be visiting set aside your Sunday to enjoy this museum.
San Lorenza is the leather market so oyu know what that means... get ready to bargain and remember don't pay over 50 euros for anything!

WHERE TO EAT
Mercado CentraleSanta Trinita Gelateria has the best gelato in all of Florence. Their Black sesame and Santa Trinita flavors are to die for.
Osteria Santo Spirito is a must if you are an gnocchi lover. I highly recommend their truffle gnocchi.
Gusta Osteria & Borgo Antico are also two restaurants that are delicious.
