STARRY EYED

It is almost time for the New Years celebration, and you know what that means... buying a brand new dress to wear. Probably one that looks exactly like the one you wore last years, but I mean new year new you right?

"ADULTING"

I'm no expert at securing jobs, but for some reason my friends seem to think I am. I've had multiple people ask me where I find so many internship opportunities and how I secure one (or two) every quarter. Although it obviously takes a lot of searching, one thing I can help you with if you are prepping to graduate and find jobs or internships is my tips and tricks to nailing the interview process!

STUDY BREAK

Summer is almost coming to an end, which means it's time to get back into a normal school schedule. For me, getting back to my routine takes a little extra preparation especially after 3 months of lounging, long beach days, and nights out.
Preparing for the new school year doesn't only mean buying school supplies or time blocking your schedule in your brand new planner. If you're like me then you probably need to mentally prepare yourself. This might seem a little dramatic, but for those of you who knew me when I was little, I literally barely even made it through kindergarten so when it comes to school... the struggle is still very real. One thing I have found that is helpful is to get into a mind space or literal space that allows productivity. So today I'm sharing some of my favorite coffee shops to study or get work done at!

1. Communal Coffee is probably one of the most instagrammable spots in North Park. Not only is it spacious, to meet a study group at, but their coffee is some of my favorite and they have a fresh flower corner. Not that having a flower corner helps with studying or anything (lol) but its cute af and sets the vibe.

2. Moniker General is a v creative space in Liberty Station. The unique part is that it is a spacious lifestlye and home goods shop that also serves specialty coffee. I love this spot because there is outdoor seating which is perfect for those who literally can't work without complete silence.

3. Central Library in Downtown is no ordinary library. If you go to the top floor you will reach the rooftop patio that over looks all of Downtown San Diego. For the ones that like fresh air and a beautiful view this study spot is right up your alley!

4. Cafe Gratitude is a cute little spot in Little Italy that not only has the cutest decor, but the most delicious food to snack on when you have a long day of duties to fulfill.

FROM MEXICO, WITH LOVE

Hey Babes! A couple months back I traveled to Mexico City for my cousins wedding and to my surprise it was nothing like I had expected. Walking the streets felt so much like Barcelona and the best part is, the flight over isn't nearly as bad!

SUMMER STRIPES

If you haven't noticed yet, I'm a California girl and if my style doesn't scream it then I don't know what does! This hot weather calls for little to no clothing and minimal pieces. Which is why my go to fav staple piece for summer has been dresses! The best part about this dress is that it isn't one.. are you confused now?

MATCHA MADNESS

It is no secret that the hot new thing to do is go to super cute instagrammable cafes, order a coffee or tea and snap away. Obviously I am guilty of doing it to, I mean now a days you could literally have the crapiest cup of coffee but still have customers flocking just to get pics with your aesthetic walls.

GINGHAM GIRL

Gingham has definitely become the go to print for summer and I am hoppin on the gingham bandwagon. Gone are the days where I would throw on a pair of jeans, a tee, and sneakers and call it a day. Prints have now become my new best friend and I cannot pass up a pop of color in my wardrobe.

FANCY PANTS

At some point in the past year my style has taken a serious turn. I've gone from La Jolla mom at the farmers market on an easy Sunday morning to Mila Kunis in That 70's Show.

GLAM BAG

Hey Babes! I can't believe July is almost over. It feels like I was just celebrating the fourth a week ago. It's a bitter sweet feeling having summer fly by so quick mainly because I just want it to be late August already so I can celebrate my 21st in VEGAS BABY!

FRIDA KAHLO VIBES

A last minute trip to Mexico was exactly what I needed after watching my friends study abroad all quarter. Seriously though... it was torture watching them go on all of these amazing adventures, so when the opportunity to travel to Mexico for my cousin's wedding arose I immediately took it.

THRIFT SCORE

Shopping at thrift stores during festival season is the motherland of cheap finds and vintage threads. Coachella season is the time that every girl is selling their soul and probably half of their closet to make some quick cash for that Weekend 1 ticket. I am sure all you festival goers are reading this and thinking back to a couple months ago when you were plotting in your group text the best ways to hustle for that ticket... and don't you worry I am 110% guilty of it.

COUPON QUEEN

Transitioning into warm weather clothes is always hard for me because it triggers something inside me that makes me feel like I need to throw out all my old summer clothes and get a new wardrobe. Probably the reason why they call is Spring cleaning. But honestly, who has the budget for that... definitely NOT ME! I am sure a lot of you can relate to this feeling which is why you are going to love this post!

INSTAGRAM TIPS

What app is that? How do you make your feed look cohesive? Where do you take your pictures? These are just a few questions I get asked on Instagram or from my friends pretty frequently. Trust me, some of my closest friends will even admit to sending me their photos to edit before they post them on Instagram. So I thought I would write a really helpful post for those of you always wondering how I do it.

ALL THAT GLITTERS

HI!
SO.... Lets talk about how weird this weather is. I mean one minute I'm getting ready to head down to the beach and the next minute I find myself throwing on my comfy sweats and getting back to that Netflix episode I binged watched the night before (it was "Shameless" by the way).

OUI, OUI PARIS

This was a city I was beyond excited to visit because I had heard so many great things from my sister when she studied abroad here. The first day we ventured around the city, my heart melted at every corner we took. There is really no way you can't fall in love with this city.

CIAO

Graphic tees, patches and chokers- when will the 90's trend end? Hopefully not any time soon because I am loving it! Finding new ways to style pieces I used to wear as a child is so much fun. Slip dresses are the new craze, they're easy to throw on, extra comfy and flattering on any body type. You can dress it down with a white tee under or dress it up with heels and a choker, you really cant go wrong!

Hello, amsterdam!

Amsterdam was one of my favorite cities. Every time I saw a canal it reminded me of the Fault in Our Stars. The city was so lively, everyone rode bikes and there were so many activities to do.

Cork, Ireland was one of our first stops in Europe. We only spent four days here, but because it was so small and not yet a big tourist site we were able to complete everything!
