coachella x inspo

Coachella is less than a week away and for those of you last minute procrastinators I have put together a helpful little guide to settle all the stress of festival season. Yeah that's right... you can thank me later.

This Rock & Roll look is literally the holy grail, the go to look, the it girl style of 2017 thus far. Yes... I'm talking cabbie hats, retro sunglasses, rocker tees and bandanas just to name a few. If you've hopped onto that 70's style bandwagon then it should be easy to throw an outfit together. But if you're looking at this outfit inspo and wondering when the F cabbie hats (the accessory most 80 year old sailer men wore) came back into style, well try it out. But seriously... just like adidas became every basic white girl staple, trust me if you haven't noticed already, well then I guarantee in the next couple months you will witness these cabbie hats take every fashionable trend setter by a storm. If I'm not selling you on this look, don't worry because I've put together two other looks for you all to consider!
I know, I know... its quite stressful thinking about the fact that after you worked your ass off (and maybe even did some real regretful things to earn money) for your Coachella ticket to realize that you now have to attempt to be the hottest chick at the festival. And the only way to do that is to throw together a 10 piece outfit for three different days without breaking the frikin bank. I mean when you think about it, it almost seems impossible. But, don't worry you're not the only one scavenging thrift stores and contacting every trendy friend you know to borrow clothes (honestly were all right there with ya). So to lessen the stress (the kind of stress you almost feel when you sit in class and the teacher springs an effing pop quiz on you) I have put together other possible outfits with items you most likely have in your wardrobe.
I guarantee you have: distressed denim shorts, a pair of black booties, a convenient but not too expensive satchel/ back pack, cute sunnies, and some random jewelry. And if you don't have some of these I bet one of your friends, aka the ones who didn't hustle to buy tickets to Coachella this year (including me fml), mostly likely will have some of these staple items. If you are looking for last minute accessories and have exhausted all your clothing options between your friends and family then go check out: thrift stores like- Buffalo Exchange or My Sister's Closet, or go to cheap stores like- Forever 21, Nordstrom Rack, etc.

Okay ladies whip out those cool weather clothes you've been working your ass off to fit back into, grab some accessories and style those Coachella outfits! Can't wait to see what crazy new shit you all put together!

Get the look: rolling stones tee // shorts & belt (try a thrift store) // cabbie hat (hat shop on Garnet in Pacific Beach) // sunglasses // booties
