STUDY BREAK

Summer is almost coming to an end, which means it's time to get back into a normal school schedule. For me, getting back to my routine takes a little extra preparation especially after 3 months of lounging, long beach days, and nights out.
Preparing for the new school year doesn't only mean buying school supplies or time blocking your schedule in your brand new planner. If you're like me then you probably need to mentally prepare yourself. This might seem a little dramatic, but for those of you who knew me when I was little, I literally barely even made it through kindergarten so when it comes to school... the struggle is still very real. One thing I have found that is helpful is to get into a mind space or literal space that allows productivity. So today I'm sharing some of my favorite coffee shops to study or get work done at!

1. Communal Coffee is probably one of the most instagrammable spots in North Park. Not only is it spacious, to meet a study group at, but their coffee is some of my favorite and they have a fresh flower corner. Not that having a flower corner helps with studying or anything (lol) but its cute af and sets the vibe.

2. Moniker General is a v creative space in Liberty Station. The unique part is that it is a spacious lifestlye and home goods shop that also serves specialty coffee. I love this spot because there is outdoor seating which is perfect for those who literally can't work without complete silence.

3. Central Library in Downtown is no ordinary library. If you go to the top floor you will reach the rooftop patio that over looks all of Downtown San Diego. For the ones that like fresh air and a beautiful view this study spot is right up your alley!

4. Cafe Gratitude is a cute little spot in Little Italy that not only has the cutest decor, but the most delicious food to snack on when you have a long day of duties to fulfill.
